The duck song

The duck song is increidibly funny for your childen! In addition, it has so many posibilities in the classroom.

On the one side you can hand out sheets with the letter D and different parts of a duck. They will paint, cut and paste and you will have the opportunity to talk with them while this occurs. For this you will have to make use of language destinated to listen and make. Here you can see examples of this type of classroom language and the ducks made by the children:

On the other side I propose you to make groups and ask them to represent a limonade stand with the seller and the number of ducks they want. The most important is that everyone can participate, so each student can practice the language used when you want to buy or sell something.

- Bye bye!

If there are members of the class who know to play instruments ask them to play the song with them! In this way you won't need to use the video.
